The Fisher 1270 how well would this unit work to find deep coins.

The park I'm interested in using the 1270 is a old park that has been picked clean of clad and has been producing the older coins using the Explorer.The 1270 main use would be as a backup for back relief from the heavier detector and a relic detector.My question doess the Fisher1270 hit well on those deep silver coins.Thanks Ron
 
I did get replies PMs,The 1270 is probably the last and best of the 1200 series.Next season I'll put some time on the 1270 in the field.Just fishing for information.Thanks Ron.
 
Tough to beat the 1266 which it replaced which although noisy went deep and was weighted real well ergonomically..Just holding a 1270 at a dealers I can see the control head is too big making the ergonomics suffer..Many do quite well with one so good luck...
