The first target with my new Etrac

CT Todd

Well-known member
I got out tonight for the first time with my new Etrac. The very first target that I dug with it is the 1802 LC in the picture.I swear its true.It was the very first target. What a way to start with a new unit.To be fair my SE Pro wouldn't have missed this coin it was right at 4" The Gold Eagle military button was at a solid 8" but was loud and clear.I dug all the normal junk tonight except no Iron which is nice.I was having a time but it started to rain after 45 minutes so it was a short but sweet hunt with the new unit and I hope a omen of things to come.

It was in Preset coins mode at auto +3 the only edit was to open it up at the top just a little for silver dollars.I learned that here thanks guys. The auto on this ground ran at about 18 plus the 3.

Quick, go buy a lottery ticket; that kinda luck doesn't last very long.

Great Job on finding the LC, Todd.

What a way to start off with your E-Trac. Those are some really nice finds. Can't wait to see what else you and your E-Trac dig up.
