The first plate in ten years

I went to the new spot & pulled this breast plate out. It's been a long time since I recovered a plate. I was pumped about it. Thanks for looking. HH TIM

WTG ! Nice job

Beautiful find Tim, I love the colors..... congratulations.

There ya go bubba. I've had a feeling this past year following your posts, that I would soon be viewing this post. I reckon you were pumped. :yikes:

Yes I was excited for sure. We were hunting a new field & it definitely caught me by surprise. I've dug over a thousand bullets since the last time I dug a plate. Mike O'Donnell told me to keep trying new areas & you'll find plates. Well I've found new spots that had hundreds of bullets & other relics but plates are hard to come by. Thanks for checking my post out. HH TIM

It's been so long since I dug a plate. How deep was it and what number did it read on the G2. Not that that's all that important but just curious. Also what condition is the back in.
Don't want much do I.

It was @12"-13". It read just like a bullet. But a little better. It read from 78 to 83. The back isn't in to bad of shape. I can't make out a makers Mark on it.

Alright :detecting: Tim. :clapping: Awesome. :hot:

I cleaned that button today. I was afraid it was going to fall apart. It didn't. I was really surprised to see its a Navy officer button. I found it right by the breast plate & bullets. It's saved now. Thanks for looking. HH TIM
