The final story on my winged pin

ok so here it is the neat story of the wings I found...At least I think it's neat......Back in the 30s-40s era there was a radio show hosted by a man named Jimmie Allen. The show broadcasted stories about the airforce fighter planes aces etc.Kids who listened to the show could send in for these winged pins. The pins showed they were part of Jimmie's fan club called....The Flying Cadets....They were made of brass and plated in gold. Richfield Oil Company sponsered the show. thats why there are on it. Thought I would share of more simpler times, and a bit of American History as well. Hope you enjoyed the story. Bye...
