[attachment 63009 finds_001_200.jpg]The F75 showed its metal yesterday when it detected this lot off a Field thats been hammered for years . ...
An Edward 1st Silver hammered penny (1272-1307)(top line 3 rd along)
A lead Saxon loom weight,(top line, 1st) Various Buttons from medieval to Georgian times . A Bronze Cauldron leg, and A thimble ,and twisted remnant of a locket with some pewter spoon top ends.
I cranked the settings up so hot ,you could burn your fingers on the detector .It was sizzling .

Beautiful. You've got a pouch full of histoty there! What a gas it must be to come up with a 700 year old coin. Astounding.

not another common edward penny jeb,we just chuck them back as they are not old enough down here in devon :sleepy:

only joking matey, what a great day out you must have had and as soon as i get my f75 sorted i will be out there myself.

got my goldmaxx if i want to go out but my heart is not in it at the moment as i am mourning for my dead f75 !!!

Give them retailers hell Hoarder and take no prisoners. It wasn`t very old was it , and they Blame you instead of replacing it . NOT a very nice approach from the retailer . it should have been Exchanged for a brand new one not the retailer Arguing the Toss . I`d be down at the Shop no matter how far away Demanding satisfaction . Good luck M8 hope it all comes right for you .

i had a phone call today admitting the unit was in fact defective and another brand new unit will be delivered on friday 20th july

they would not elaborate on what was actually wrong with the first unit

so i will have another go at learning this excellent machine before the rally season starts :clapping:
