Got a late start today and thought it was going to be a bust, but then I found this.
The big treasure for today was a Kershaw, Ken Onion, knife. Model 1660CKTST, found in a athletic field section of a park. The knife was opened and down in the grass roots. Roots grown throughout any opening they could get into.
The F5 overloaded on it and when I raised the coil it gave a nice iron fart, but traced out as something different than a nail. By the root growth it looks to have been lost last summer. They must be nice knives as it still looks really good. Only needed minor cleaning. Looked it up on the net and it retails for $55.
Here is a link to it: http://www.kershaw-knives.net/Kershaw-Ken-Onion-Leek-KS1660CKTST.htm
I like finding the knives. Some of them, like this one, actually have a pretty decent value.
This one is kind of dangerous though, like a modern switchblade.
