This is very important to me, just checking on this site, some problems regarding the F-75 have been posted, these must only happen with a small number of detectors.

Hope this is correct ?

The reason asking is, I'm soon to get one, I need it to be OK !

Bob.

Most folks don't post unless they have a problem of some kind, so it kinda throws off the trouble-free/problem statistics! :)

I know mine works great!

Hope mine is Ok, as the return will cost me big bucks$.

Then thinking about it , your thinking is correct, I should not have said anything untill I get it & test it !

Regards Bob.

people are a LOT quicker to comment about problems and just flat ignore good experiences. Personally, I try to flip that over. When I'm getting some "support" by phone and it goes well, I ask the person for their supervisor. Most are a little uneasy untill I tell them I want something good put in thier file. Many ALSO stay on the line (Trust but Verify? LOL).
My experience with "the new Fisher" has been uniformly great. Well, if I was a knit picker, I'd mention the need for that small shooter coil for the F-75.....

If 250,000 detectors of the same make n model go out as a new batch of a new detector , the law of averages says a small fraction of that 250,000 will " possibly" be defective. It applies to Auto`s , anything you like , so you just have to hope to heaven you get a good n.Otherwise you just return the defective one under warranty, and you get another one in replacement.
PS. My F75 works perfect.
