The explorer 2 works like a dream under powerlines.

I went to a site today that has the super high tension power lines going right over the top of the field , the explorer 2 worked like the power lines were not even there!. This detector has to be the best detector ever built for working under powerlines, The site in question was loaded with coins , i found 50 coins in 2 hours from right under the high tension lines, I guess others have not worked the site because their machines would not work under the power lines. This another super ability of the explorer 2 to work sites that other detectors can not work properly on like sites with high voltage power lines.

I've found that under power lines - mainly lines running along roads in town, that I can seldom get my sensitivity about the high teens. I'm positive this kills depth for many sites.

Maybe thats true i was only using a sensitivity of 17. It does work much better than my old xlt near power lines though MUCH MUCH better. 90% BETTER
