Hay Candy Cane,
I have had a Euro Sabre for over a year now.
I like it a lot.
It is a 10 kHz machine that is just like an Eldorado
except, where tha Eldorado has a frequency shift,
tha Euro has an Iron ID feature.
Here's tha Eldorado
Here's tha Euro.
Tha Iron ID switch has three settings.
Tha left position is IRON BLANK. In Iron blank, small
iron is silent. Small foil will just give a poping sound.
Larger iron will also give a poping sound. Big iron and
larger foil will be very scratchy. Pull tabs will have a
less scratchy sound. Higher conductors will sound off.
The center position OFF. It makes the Euro be just like
an Eldorado with out frequency shift.
Tha right position is AUDIO. In Audio, tha Euro has two
tones. A lower tone for iron and tha regular tone for every
thing else. Small iron will have a low tone. Foil, larger iron
and pull tabs will have a mixture of both tones. Foil will
have a blend with more low tone and pull tabs will have
more higher tone blend.
Now I didn't mention gold. But as we all know, gold is
very close to foil and tabs.
Tha Euro came with a 12" X 10" concentric coil. It is very
deep for relic hunting.
That's my Euro Sabre.
Hope that answers your question,
Tabdog
