Huntress was inspired by the finds on my last hunt, so she agreed to go with me. It has not been a good season for her and she really needed a victory, so I was hoping for her to have some success (boy did she, but that's another story).Went back last night (which is why I am just now getting caught up), with Huntress and the Excals, into a 729P 0.0L and SW winds 5-10. We were in the water by 715P (late). Target density was good again, but there was trash as usual this close to shore. Clad count was on par with the night before at $3.35. Got a hair clip w/flowers and a HEAVILY CORRODED Guess ladies watch.

1st ring came to hand and it was quite a high pitched signal. It is an Avon ring, .925 w/opal and CZs on each side. Not all Avon is junk, so be sure to check them out (Huntress is an Avon Independent Sales Rep). I hooped at Huntress across the water and waved my headlight at her. Not so sure she was feelin' the love for me just yet though! A while later she gets one and hoops at me across the water. I ask gold and she says, "YUP",so I headed that way! She will be posting that unit later. Then it was my turn again and that's when the 14K w/diamond showed up.

She wanted to see it and I did not want to get off my line, so I stuck my scoop in deep and walked over there, to show her. The scoop had fallen down into the water in the meantime, so I spent the next 30 minutes cussing and searching for my scoop (she felt bad and helped me search). I really need some type of buoy marker for it! It kinda slowed down, so we baled at 115A. I am encouraged and ready to go again soon!
