I posted my silver finds so far this year, now the other goodies...some found at 12" most between 8"- 10" the deep ones were the large cents and the Indian heads...the large cents still rang in at a good 11,12-44,45 while most of the deep IH's were all over the board, I dug them because of the good repeatable signal and the depth.

Great finds! One thing for people to remember is that even with these Minelabs of ours your soil might not allow coins that deep. Some soils even a Minelab will struggle to get about 8 or 9" on a silver dime, but usually they are deeper than any other machine in those soils anyway so it's all good.

Very nice collection of coins. When the conditions are right (moist ground, not muddy wet) I've been able to hit coins consistently at depths up to 12". Perhaps, just the right amount of moisture in the soil enhances the "halo" effective of the older deeper coins. That's why I like to hit the harder hit sites right after a good soaking rain.
