LOOKS like a well taken care of unit there is no coil cover( i think) but the bottom is clean orange seal looks good ...am i missing something on the headphones??
 
Looks like a winner Friend!!

Ear phones look OK.

If they are too loud for you the is a volume control via a small screw slot inside the control box.

It's accessable when the top cover is removed.

Turn small screw counter clock wise to increase and clock-wise to lower volume.

If you aren't diving with the DF you will block wind noise etc by plugging the vent hole in each ear cup.

Then why on your ebay listing did you say that you got it from a pawn shop?? Something is definetly fishy with this detector.
 
that was the ebay seler..pawn shops do have ebay i checked the serial # and it still has warenty on it my beach just has to many wires and rair pins for a pi detector
