does the deleon respond to australian coins as well as the american coins.when i look at the screen of a deleon, all i see is american icons.where do aussie coins show on the scale of things.x terra's have a numeric scale that once learnt, easy to remember.does the deleon have the same or similar set up.does 95 cover all coins or what.i've been thinking of buying one.blowfly,hh,bye for now .merry xmas one and all

almost nickels come in from anywhere from 37 to 41 and thats where you will find the nice gold wedding rings as well if its a 41 lock on dig it!

Hi again Blowfly! Furious T is another Aussie on here who has had a Deleon for a few years and loves it. Hopefully he will chime in and help you out. I have a Deleon on my list for 2010, just have to find enough coins to pay for it!

gidday werewolf, yeah i know sapper's got one.i sent him a pm,but he hasn't responded yet.not a rush, however a new one from paul knee at the moment is only $948.00.food for thought and he has one left at the moment until his next order comes in.bye for now, blowfly.oh yeah, merry christmas and a happy new year

Hi blowfly,
Just sent you an email...sorry for the delay..I cant praise the DeLeon enough, as you'll see in my email. If you are interested in buying, check out Paul Knee's new website, www.tesoro.com.au
Paul is the Aussie importer/distributor, and a good bloke (I haven't met him, but we've spoken on the phone a lot over the years (and over the numerous tesoros).
One thing I didn't mention to you or werewolf, is that once you get used to the DeLeon, although it only has a single tone, with low disc. I can still pick out the audio signal for a $1 or $2 coin, without looking at the visual ID...the only exception is if the coin is on top of the ground and I am using high sensitivity (say 6). I've found the DeLeon very powerful, and seldom use the sensitivity more than 4 or 5.
All the best, and Happy Christmas to both you and werewolf.
