Today was an epic detecting day with my Deleon. First, I dug 121 coins in 3.5 hours. That's a personal best, if amount of coins means anything. I had dug close to 100 before, but this is my most productive outting. Too bad there were so many pennies, but that's how it goes.
Secondly, I snagged silver #17 for the year. A 1967 Canadian centennial dime.
Third, I found my first large cent in over 20 years. This is a British penny, not Canadian, but I'm okay with that!
Settings on the Deleon, for anyone interested, is threshold at 1 o'clock, disc half way between iron and foil, and dig anything that flashes a 95 even once.
I don't need no stinkin' Cazador.

If I may, whats the back story? Did you find a certain place just loaded up? Coins like those are not coming out of a totlot...you found some sort of off to the side place, did'nt ya!
