the CZ arsenal needs a BIG coil...

Hey guys the previous post regarding the cz 70 gos deep has really got me thinkin about depth I'm thinkin about getting a big coil for the 3D an the 70 pro what's the best for low min soil like mine here in se michigan? Hope to hear Dan in Pa weigh in Thanks Aaron
 
Big coil meaning what ? The 10.5 Fisher or the 12 inch FZ that Sunray used to make ? . Do you know of any others cuz I don't.

The FZ12 that Sunray made is a great coil. I use one on one of my 6a's for beach hunting. Funny thing is, there are some beaches where the 10.5 inch Fisher coil works better. Must be the coil design.

I already have the fisher 10.5 I was thinking the sun ray 12 but I didnt know its oop. Maybe somebody out there wants to sell one...
 
I had one and sold it...then realized I wanted another and it took me awhile to find one. Most CZ users who have one, and hunt open fields or beaches, don't sell em.

I will look out for one for you though.

The FZ-12 works great, got a brand new one by mail just recently.

CZ 10.5 you will get a little more depth and coverage and seems to like coins on edge.

FZ12 Sunray will get you several more inches and coverage is greatly increased..Don't make them anymore and tough to find used or otherwise.

Both pinpoint well for large coils and weigh about the same and most hipmount them...remember not for everyday use but excell on beaches or large fields as the coverage per swing is really increased..

Wish I had the 12 years ago when I traveled and hunted saltwater beaches..All in all a little heavy and easily handled by hipmounting and certainly recommended....

Aaron wish i could hook you up like i hooked ivanll up with the sunray fz12 coil ,by the way ivanll i read your post, and link that was nice ,all i can say is keep looking, and therover ,you are wright holding on to mine ,this coil will hold me over from buying an ltd ,i will pick it up 1st before my f75 ,and will wait for the next machine ,just like i am waiting for mine lab to make another water machine with new technology better than the bbs system Land and water man now Happy Hunting Earl:detecting:
