The Compadre its all true

I received a nice little Compadre this morning, haven't used it in a real hunt yet but ran down and grabbed some of my wife's jewelry to test it. I am amazed how well it will hit on jewelry, especially chains and I mean just the chain with no pendant/charm etc. on it. The chains I tested were really fine/small links. Can't wait to try this baby out at a playground. I can almost smell the gold :tesoro:. Steve.

Hmmm, you are making a believer out of me. I know my Vaq doesnt hit very good on small chains. I also have 18k medium chain and cross and it doesnt perform well on that either in airtests.

I didn't get a chance to try it out today in an actual hunt but I couldn't stop thinking about how well it hit on the small chains, I wasn't touching the chains on the coil either I had them at least a couple of inches away, if I didn't see it with my own eyes I might not of believed it. Steve.

Just go back to past post's associated to the Compadre. It's a little killer for what it is and the cost of one won't break the bank - impressive value and oh so fun to use. I don't know whats not to like about it for the price point.

Can't hardly get it out of my hands. It doesn't go as deep as some others, but it for some reason FINDS more-thoroughly in the first 4-5".I was particularly impressed by the increase in the number of dimes I found. If you sell this one, Steve-I'm the first buyer!:heh:
