The Cleated Coins Soccer field hunting

Dancer

Well-known member
The soccer fields are getting a work out right now in my area. The ground is soft & can have puddles around. If there is a conns. stand there should be some coins ,,maybe a gem buried also. One thing that becomes a small challenge is the cleated coin. You get a good hit [usually a Quarter] and can't find it by probing. These coins have been turned on their side by getting stomped on by a soccer shoe cleat or spike. What makes a good coin field. 1. A active concession stand. 2. If the field is lighted, that's a big bonus [twice the use] 3. A multi use field adds coins too. 4. Any small bank or hill of course where the games can be watched from is a area to be checked.. A lot of these things is just common sense But how many times we took a look around and said Hey I never hunted over there much, I'm going over to give it a try. Get a few fields like this on your Treasure Map, and it will keep you busy.
