Well, ok I need to appolgize for calling myself a newbie...I got my Garrett in August last year, been practicing at the park in the sand and bark chip....I was alittle whiny cause I havent found that much...I guess I was looking for someone to help me make that treasure jump and say here I am....I took your advice and went out today...spent about a hour by the city pool....NO GOOD....mostly junk and 2 cents....Yes just 2....then I thought about what I have seen on this message board and had read....And I thought<<<<<<SOCCER FEILDS>>>> As I was given advice, I guess I was just kinda letting it go in one ear and out the other....At the soccer fields I got 94 cents.....3 quarters....! dime....and 9 pennies......and a token for fantasy golf in columbus.....Now I would like to thank all of you!!!!

Thanks

Hey, nice going! Persistence always pays off. You will start to figure out which places will yield lots of targets and then after you get bored with coins (it will happen), you'll start looking for more interesting real estate to hunt. - ziphius

what do you mean by new real estate ???? I live in chillicothe ohio....during WWI, they had a military training camp here (which I would like to hunt ) I have the old topo maps of the area1910 I think....my house (possibly once an old school house ) all the floors slant a different direction cause they used to be porches....also some of the additions to the house, they used wood from camp sherman....it has serial numbers on the boards from where it was bought by the gov'mnt....also there is a rail about 10 ft long from the rail road under the front room as a support....it is sitting on a stump thatt is now under the living room....they say that this house is the oldest on the block....and I live in town...two houses down is the old fire station that someone lives in now.....I got the ok to dect the houses on both sides of me...sound promising ????
