While out hunting this morning my screen showed the CE error code and my machine stopped working properly. It only lasted for a couple of minutes or so and began functioning properly. I checked the coil connection and it was tight. Has this happened to anyone else and if so what did you do or what did it lead to. Thanks for any info Terry.
Only twice with 2 different coils Terry, but neither of those coils ever did it again.
I'm only guessing that on the very odd occasion a coil may do it when a bit of strain near the coil plug may cause it, or dozens of other reasons. But it is very rare indeed and unless it's a faulty coil and does not re CE error again then it should be fine.
Dude, I've gotten those with no indication anything was wrong. I've also had my machine just die on me, out of the blue. I turn it off, or turn it back on and I hunt for another couple of hours with no trouble.
My best guess.....gremlins.
