The past three months I've spent fighting it out with Bermuda Immigration to bring my Master Cabinetmakers Mike and Scott back to Bermuda from Canada. Mike and Scott worked for me when I was building the Newstead Hotel and have now come back to Bermuda to work for me at my new company. When you leave one company in Bermuda your work permit is revoked and you have to reapply for another work permit which has taken me 3 months and thousands of $$$ to get processed.
A couple of great guys who stuck it out for me to come back to Bermuda, I'm Very Happy to have them back.
I went to the airport to pick them up yesterday morning but as I had an hour to kill before their plane arrived I stopped at Shelley Bay Park for a little water walk. The sand has been shifted in heavily by Bertha and the targets were extremely scarce; a couple of very deep pull tabs and one good target that was super deep for a one hour hunt. I was out chest deep when I got a broken signal that took me down 2 feet before I could get it to move. My problem now was that the target was too deep for me to reach with my scoop.
I wound up propping myself up over the hole with my scoop on one side and my Excal on the other and kicking like mad to push the target up the side of the hole (crater is more like it) so I could reach the target with my scoop. Out popped a Fossil F2 Ladies Watch, the battery is dead but there's no water in the face, it's rated to 100 ft. I think a new battery will have it up and running again, good as new. Chock up another find for my Princess.

I took the guys out to lunch and then Scott headed off to see his lady love Dr. Nancy (absence makes the heart grow fonder) and then the Princess and I took Mike and his friend Jazz to dinner at the SaltRock Cafe for a homecoming dinner. Very late night that finished watching the ocean and the moonrise from our beach, just got up and think I need a Bloody Caesar to shake out the cobwebs.
