The "borrowed" AT Pro comes through for me again

This time the AT Pro pulled this seated dime out of the hole with some type of clasp. I am pretty amazed at the abilities of the AT Pro seeing next to iron and I feel that is why this dime was missed by the hundreds of detectors that hit this old park. I love borrowing this machine!

Pretty nice find again. I guess if you can borrow a A T you don't need to buy one, but making finds like you are with it, I'd be thinking hard about buying one. Good one! HH jim tn

Jim the AT pro is a formidable machine, and very good , that is a beauty find and full of history thats the old jim or dim man,

call me dime man lol

Man! Thats a trophy! Especially being masked all these years and missed by everyone...Real nice work there Jim!:clapping:
Yeah, you should prolly get your own Pro...looks like you two get along pretty good!:clapping:

Yesssss! That's a mighty sweet dig. Dear angels, please 'CC' me one of these!

So! Your doing so well! Don't you think you need to quit barrowing and buy your own? Just a thought. I hate to loan my detectors. Grubstake

Joe,

The clasp is really a Hutchinson Stopper.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.

The credit goes out to kaolinwasher for correctly identifying the piece as a Hutchinson Stopper

Charles G. Hutchinson invented and patented the Hutchinson Patent Stopper in 1879 as a replacement for cork bottle stoppers which were commonly being used as stoppers on soda water or pop bottles

like to know what the clasp is, i found one just like it

Naaaa My relative doesn't mind (it's my dad's ) he is real good about it and is happy to loan it to me. When he is ready, he asks for it back lol. Call it the "Community AT Pro". I am only a couple miles from him so it is no big deal. Although you are right, I do need to pick one up.

re: Hutchinson Patent Stopper -
Funny, I found one of these the other day, too. I really want to find one in the old 'blob-top' bottle, preferably with a local bottler's mark! (hint, hint )
