FINDING GOLD , SILVERAND COINS WHITH THE MINELABE SOVEREIGNAND EXCALIBUR METALDETECTORS BYCLIVEJAMES CLYNICK i was told of this book by a forum member and got it it is great the man who wrot it has 30 years detecting experiance and has used all the soverign detectors and really knows his stuff if you are new this is a must uless you have the time to figure it out by yourself , the GT is not a hard machine this guy has insights that are truly amazing way more info than in the owners manual

I have one he sent to me that is autographed and think he sent some to others too that help give him some good tips from our experience with the Sovereigns. It was great he was able to put a book out with some of his and others experiences to help those get used to these great detectors. Andy Sabisch also has put out several books that are very good and helpful also if you get a chance to read one.
I will agree that these books are much better than the owners manuals which i don't think many will actually read much as we have notice with some of the questions ask.
Good to see you bring up the info on Clyde's book as I keep forgetting about it myself.

one good tip in the book is to get some toggle boots , as the man said getting dirt on the toggles will wear them out so I am working on that now , havent been able to get out and try the tips yet but I will get a break sometime

Hey Gunnar,

I took your advise, took the plunge and ordered the book.

I use a Sovereign GT. That is one of the best if not the best investment, I have made since I have owned my Sovereign GT. :detecting:
