Heyyyy Hello Just passing by to see your new post and shown you my latest find.

1953 32.28 gr 14k


That is the cherry on the Sunday for my first hear of detecting.

It was hide on a very popular beach, with at least 2 permanent detector . Probably hundreds of coils pass over that ring, including me with the Exc.2, MXT. Exterra 70 and all the other... he ring have been there on dry sand for at least couple hears

When there is more detector than swimmer, you have to use different technique. Wile every body was running with there detector, I went very slowly meter square by meter square with Exc.1000, disc1 , sens. maximum

Found some old rings, old coins, 1938 half dollars ,... and the big one

Yesssss Joe,

I will be in Sebastien on the Treasur Coast betwen the May 7 to May 21, looking for somes Spanish coins there. After that, I will be in Fort Lauderdale. If no time for hunt, will try for a drink. I did save you couple pull tabs for you on the beach. You know not the cheap ones, but the shiny blue ones that sound good on the Exc.

Yup super finds! I id the same as you too. My beach all the detectors were at the water line while i was hunting the dry sand. It payed in spades with Plat and gold. Good luck out there!

Great find, that's what it's all about, keep up the good luck. When it's a class ring, I have my uncle do the research to try to find who the owner was. That is fun in itself and can make for a very good story. HH,
