Today I reached my goal with the C$ - found my 1,000th coin - which happened to be a Georgia State quarter (at least it wasn't a zinc penny) - LOL.

In case anyone is wondering about nickels - out of a total of (1006) coins - (74) were nickels - which gives a percentage of 7.36%.

HH - Hawkeye Jim.

(14) peices of silver out of (1006) coins = 1.39%

(1) Walking Liberty Half Dollar - 1936
(6) Mercury Dimes - 1920, 1927, 1938, 1940-D, 1942-S, 1943-D
(1) Barber Dime - 1899-O
(4) Roosevelt Dimes - 1950-D, 1953-D, 1961-D, 1963-D
(1) Washington Quarter - 1964-D
(1) Jefferson War Nickel - 1945-P

Hoping to increase the silver totals this fall if the weather cooperates - Hawkeye Jim.

I had kept count along the way. Just for the sake of curiosity. I've dug a LOT of holes with the C$! The first thousand are the toughest. Now they will come easy!

Thanks Tony - all gravy from here on out - this year I started keeping a log book of when, where I hunted, and what I found - HH - Hawkeye Jim.
