The BHID seems to work OK in Lake Michigan!

Took a little getting used to after hunting so long with a silent search machine. But the AM mode brings home the gold an deep stuff just have to get used to crawling and listening for the wispers. Found one 14k gold ring right in the waters edge in about 4 inches of water,(a guess + 8 inches deep, good stable signal) Now more than ever I'm dying to get into the water!!!! Also recovered some clad and an eyepiece to a pair of binoculars ? ? BHID purred right along w/ no hot rocks, I have to try one other spot to see if it's hotrock proof. WOOT!!!!!!!! Come on hot weather!!!!!! well +60 anyway....lol

I hope you got the 300 you'll dig yourself silly! I can't remember the name of my scoop but here's a pic. I've had it for about 10 years and have not broken it yet!
I did not have it with me Sat but it's supposed to be 70 here on Weds so I'm gonna get in the water!! I miss the hot summer sun!!!!!! Warm up U.P.!!!
