The Best

Confused

Hello All,

I have a question for you scuba hunters. What is the best detector for under water hunting? I am getting my scuba cert and I want ot start hunting under water. I have a CTX 3030 that I love, but it's only good for 10 feet. Thanks for your input and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Rod

Hey Rod, Scubadetector and KCdigit have been using the CZ 20-21's with great success...you can go and read their posts if you wish. Its a time tested and heavy duty piece of work. As far as the "best" I am sure thats like the Ford/Chevy or Coke/Pepsi debate. Do some research, get something, learn it well, and you will find something if you get out looking hard enough. Good Luck!:buds:
Mud

Thanks Mud. Happy Thanksgiving.

I started with a fisher 1280X made some finds with it after 3 years wanted something new so I went with Excalibur2 and vibra probe. The Excalibur had a bit of a learning curve but you have a mine lab so it wouldn't come into play so much with you.I personally think that any top of the line detector will be a good investment .When your diving you don't want to cheap out on any of your gear

Thanks Scott. That is the one I will get.

If your diving shallow and freshwater lakes the Excal in my opinion isn't the best choice. If your in the ocean a PI is one of the best. I have NO idea where you are hunting. Hard to tell you an opinion without knowing the facts.
