Never in my almost 41 years with this great hobby have I had a "big silver" month like Jan has been for me. In fact, I'm not sure any one year has been any better. My main detector is a Fisher F 75 LTD and it shares some hunting time with my Teknetics Omega 8000. Big silvers started coming on New Years day when on a short woods hunt I dug 3 of the Standing Liberty halves out of the same hole with my LTD. The next half, the 1950 Canada, came from a small community park and I was swinging my Omega that day. Also from that same park the Omega nabbed the 3 quarters, 1, a no date S L, the 925 dolphin ring and 1 of the Rosie dimes. A couple of days later from the same small park the LTD sniffed out the sterling babies spoon. The woods contributed the rest of the silver dimes, the 925 ear ring, the big sterling ring, no date Buffalo nickel, 1906 IH and the 1890 Morgan dollar and the 1917s S L half. All with my F 75 LTD. The Morgan and Standing Liberty came on the same outing and were the only 2 coins that I dug that day. It sure helps to be a digger in the south in the winter time. Thanks for looking. HH jim tn
