the best 30 minutes of 2012

during a 1 week vacation at the shore last summer i scored 3 pieces of gold in about 30 minutes time....all were in the wet sand and each was about 8 inches deep.....i was using the excal... the large ring was 10k, the small ring was not marked but tested at 14k and the grill tested at 10k.... i didnt find another piece of gold the whole rest of the week.......;[attachment 264292 vabgold2012.jpg][attachment 264291 goldvab2012.jpg]

Great rings it's weird how gold finds come in fits and starts. I found 1 gold ring, an 18k chain with 2 pendants on it and an 18k pendant on its own, all within 5 meters of each other. Rest of the beach nothing......WW

some times makes me wonder if it has something to do with the alignment of the planets.....funny thing ,that morning there really wasnt many targets at all to be had.... and these were kinda spread out - not likely lost by the same person.... happy hunting.....;
