The coins and jewelry are still in reach it's just a matter of finding the spots on my Jersey Shore beaches that are holding the heavier targets....this to me is the fun of beach hunting....reading the beach, finding the spots, and reaping the rewards! It makes finding those gold rings all that more sweet! Check out my new video.....

Nice.
Love the vids. They're very helpful.
Good tunes too. Wind noise gets old on vids when people aren't saying anything.

Surfdigger What do you think about the sand bars that are showing up around low tide? Do you think its worth it to wade out the trough ? The water is about 4 ft deep and then you on an island that goes for several hundred ft.

Hi Steve....definitely hunt those troughs....not all will produce.....one way to find a potential spot is to take a scoop full of sand when you are in the deepest part of the trough and see if there is any kind of heavy material in the sand like broken shells and pebbles....if so....then start detecting and see if you are digging targets.....heavy coins like nickels and quarters are a good sign as well as fishing sinkers....good luck down there....HH....Brian
