Today I was MD'ing a 1 room school house / bean field and I found the 2 coins that I was hoping to find there, on the first day there, a 1891 Seated dime and a 1868 Shield Nickel. I also found a 1899 Barber dime, 4 IH's, a 1865, 1881, 1882, 1901. I found a cool flat button and it's the first one that I have ever found that has a design on it and their is still some gold gilt on it. On the back of the button it has " Scovill & CO. Super Fine and so far what info that I have found on the button it is from 1840 to 1850, sweeet.

If It's not raining tomorrow I'm planing on going back to the bean field and see what else is out there.

Sounds like it was as windy over on your side of the State as it was here on mine. Congrats on those nice finds. Especially the little ladies. The backs look the same. But when you see the gal sitting down on the obverse, it is a special feeling. Good job! HH Randy

P.S. what kind of camera are you using?

Yaaaa, it was pretty windy today, but it didn't get as bad as they said it was going to get. It's been a few months since I have found a seated coin and I was hoping to find one at this place, ooooh what a thrill it was.

I use a Fujifilm FinePix S5200 camera.

Great finds and video! Thanks for sharing:thumbup:
