Got out for a couple hours this morning to a park I haven't been to since last year, (with a different machine) I guess I left alot behind. I finally dug a large cent in pretty decent shape and put a nice scratch in it :ranting: I almost aborted the dig because it was so hung up in the tree roots, I thought I would never get to it. If you look close you can see how off center the date is with the bust, a little tough to see but the date is 1842. The 1865 two cent piece is one of the nicest I've ever dug, wasn't expecting that. No silver, maybe next time.

Not really sure, but if it is I'm sure I screwed that up with my nice scratch. I wish the picture came out better than it did the coin looks much better than the picture.

Hi Tony, does look like I nicked the rim, one of those days. It was tough digging today, alot of tree roots.
