The AT PRO. Volume control and headphone options?

JASONSPAZ1

Anyone know if the AT Pro has a volume control? And has Garrett figured out if the headphone adaptor accessory will be available once the detector hits the street?
I know I have to get the infinium headphones in order to go into the water. But what if I want to use my Killer B's headphones?

Thanks in advance
Jason

The AT Pro itself doesn't have a volume control, but it is being sold with headphones that DO have a volume control, as part of the deal.

My understanding right from the get go the initial testers advised Garrett some would like to use their own phones...Garrett addressed the situation and an adaptor will be available. Whether it will be part of package or sold as an accessory don't have a prayer...

In a conversation with a dealer, I was told the wet phones for the AT Pro do not use the same connector the Infinium uses, even though the phones themselves are otherwise the same. You may want to verify before purchasing Infinium wet phones.

In the new Garrett catalog the submersible headphones for the Infinium and the AT have the same part number.

so does this mean that i cant use my grey ghost headphones with the at pro??? i would have to build my own? or is the headphone jack a special one due to being water proof?
