It will be heading to the lane on Saturday as long as it is not windy or rain. Hubby is putting it together as I type.

congrats... wish mine would get here, been waiting almost 2 weeks. received one and it had the problem and my dealer told me to just send it back to him instead of garrett and he would take care of everything. well, he went through his entire stock and they all had the problem and he had to send them all back to garrett and garrett told him they woul replenish his stock with all new units. as of last friday he hadnt received them yet and he told me he would call me as soon as he got them and then get it shipped out. no call yet so its starting to look like it might have been faster to just send it in to garrett.

the day i get mine tomorrow and im sick go figure. Sent mine to garrett for the falsing. been feeling great then the day it comes back im done for.

Hope it all works out for u on the LANE. Maybe the wind will calm down for u , but for the rain , nice to know the ATPRO is water proof.

I hope it will perform as well as my Excal, but with a faster sweep. I have the Ace 350 and that is very deep seeking machine.

Bobbie,
Congrats on your AT Pro ......As far as the wet sand and the dry , you will move much faster .....Depending on the conditions there at the beach will strongly depend on whether or not your AT Pro will do well in the lane ......I have a few beaches where it does very well , while there are a couple that it doesn't handle as well as it does not want to G.B. well on ....You G.B. numbers should be in the 20 and under range IN Saltwater , and you will be lowering your Sensitivity in some cases ......Understand I said SOME , because not all Saltwater beaches are the same ...... Good Luck and let us know how you do .....Again, congrats !!....You're gonna LOVE this machine on the dry ......I call it " Dry and Fly " .......Jim

Me too!!...........We are headed to FL next friday to the land to the land of gold. The snow and ice at the lane has melted, but inland here in CT we still have a lot making it impossible to detect. The sledding hills have not been used because the snow was to deep.......4 feet..........and then it rained on all that snow turning everything into icebergs.
