The Anderson Stand on Racer Review.

Sweeping-4-junk

New member
Well I have to say I have been well pleased with my Makro Racer over the last 8 months , the only thing I found annoying about using the racer was the fact it would topple over on virtually every single dig. To some people this might seem trivial but to me it got to be (to say the least) pretty annoying!. Well after purchasing the "Anderson Stand" and using it on my racer for a full day I have to say I am well pleased with the improvements the stand gives. One question you might be asking is what kind of improvements are to be gained from using the stand, well I found the there was 2 main things I really enjoyed about the stand been fitted , the first improvement is obviously the fact that the machine does not fall over on every dig and is raised up at the rear keeping it well clear of mud etc. The second thing which I liked and which I was not expecting is the fact the machine is easier to grasp once the hole has been filled and your ready for off - less of a lean over to grab the machine - you might like this improvement - I certainly liked this improvement a lot. On long days hunting you will appreciate the stand a lot , it just makes it a smoother , easier more pleasant hunt . I noticed no weight gain on the racer , the stand did not impede my sweeping in any way shape or form. The stand was fixed solid to the machine and did not move at all. There you go my own quick review of the Anderson Stand. Flea bay can provide.
Rating for use on the Makro Racer Detectors - 9 out of 10.

Got one of those year ago and now use it on the racer it really is great

is it heavy , I think i would want one as well as the grass is wet and jams into the speaker

IT'S NOT HEAVY YOU WON'T KNOW IT'S THERE BUT IT WILL HOLD YOUR MACHINE OFF THE GROUND

Been using the stand on a few detectors and never rubs my leg. Easily adjustable. As I've gotten older I've become a fanatic on ways to lighten equipment . The stand is a tough composite material so I drilled numerous small holes in it. It is still strong and looks good.
