The Ace series detectors are definitely .....................

................in the wrong color!!!!!!!!!! Why not a black detector with "GARRETT" in yellow?? I borrowed a friends a Ace 250 and a funny thing happened.........I found out while hunting around an old abandoned farm that wasps..................love the Ace. The were everywhere and they came right at me. Then I thought of course, go and buy any wasp trap an it's bright yellow. So I told my buddy to cover it in black electrical tape if he's going to hunt that area. We had a good laugh at Garrett's choice of color schemes. Most of his detectors are in " weed eater green" or "wasp trap yellow" . I wonder if Charlie wears a yellow tie with his green suit?? LOL LOL Anyways.... I like his products no matter what the color!!!

:usaflag:Just go and get yourself a rain cover...same colors...problem solved.

My rain cover is yeller.. Wouldn't help me much. :sadwalk:
Mine is an older one made by a different bunch before Garret started selling them.
It looks about the same, but is yeller instead of black.
