Today was my day, had some cancellationed work so I went out detecting. Found this 10kt white gold bracelet(My buddy checked it out with his acid tester and weighed it 7.5 grams))with the Ace on a limestone parking lot at a church, its my first gold find ever:thumbup: It was a real big church and the parking area had alot of pennies and dimes. I think this bracelet is a fresh drop , there are no scraches or dings on it. Gonna try and see if I can locate the owner or find out some how to return it I just dont know how to go about it. I think I will go back to the church and see if there is a lost and found message board or something, I just dont know what to do. I want to do the right thing, just a little confused.Took the ATPro to a few vacant house lots and came out with a 1953 dime and some other good junk.A couple of weeks ago I got 452 dollars at the scrap yard for all my brass and copper that i have found in 8 months of detecting. It's starting to dawn on me about$$ what I can find in one year. I probly have over 50 dollars in zinc pennys, plus all the little goodies that I keep. Its all bragging rights for me as a begginer. The pics arent to good, sorry.

Be careful asking if someone lost it. Don't give any type of description. And don't worry yourself ,,the chances of finding the owner is nil to none.
I'm not so sure I would even mention it to anyone.May cause you more more problems than you think.

its up to you and god if you locate the owner thats a good thing the first gold is what we want you got a detector to hunt with and you did just that good find got to love the ace 250 mine is a ring hog
and any time i can get some ones ring back it makes me feel good but it is nice to find gold :cheers: and sivler:clap:

Finders= keepers, losers= :cry:
Congrats on the gold!:beers:
Happy Hunting!:)

Wow! Two cool things from your post. The scrap metal and the gold. When I think of all the pipes and valve pieces and big copper/brass chunks I've tossed away! Better not think about that right now.

I think a message on their bulletin board would be best if you decide to try to return the bracelet.

Chris

PS Nice dime too.
