The 70 Likes the Gold

I went to Quartzsite , AZ this weekend for a few hours. I mostly dug buckets of material to run thru my Highbanker when I got home, but did pull the 70 out with the DD coil for about 30 min.. I found one small nugget and ran into another guy who had several nuggets and some rocks with gold inside. Testing the 70 with his nuggets, I must say that the 70 has a nose for gold. I have a Minelab PI detector and I like the 70 better. I'm looking forward to spending more time in the field with it. The PI's are great for the big nuggets down deep, but don't seem to be as sensitive to the small stuff closer to the surface. I've found quite a bunch of coins, a couple of tokens and other assorted things so far. Nothing worth much as the areas I searched were not that old. This is the best all purpose detector for the money anywhere. Got to save for a couple more coils and lower shafts to go with them. If the 70 were a woman, it would be one hot mama !!!!

I don't know how many people myself and a few of the other boys have told about the 70 and its thirst for gold but I think it's finally catching on. It sure is sensitive on gold and the little 6" DD is amazing in every way, best of luck.
