First Texas is evidently going to release a new machine..... Richard

A modern CZ would be awesome for us longtime CZ Guys. But sure it won't happen.
A Guy can dream though. He.

Food for thought.

Does a metal detector manufacturer WANT to make their BIG ANNOUNCEMENT on TURKEY DAY?

Or is FTP looking at their BIG ANNOUNCEMENT perfect to fall on the day of THANKSGIVING?

F75/T2 LTD in gold/green, extra 2 year refurb warranty transfer/extension, no 5" coil, digger, f-pulse/tek-point. $649/$549 MAP

A year or so ago - the MAP prices for the F75 with boost and the T2 with boost were $1099 and $899 respectively. Included in the package was and extra 5” coil.

Now the same detectors in their new “+” package are $699 and $549 - and instead of the small coil, you get:

A transferrable 2 year segment of the 5 year warranty
A free factory overhaul once in the 5 years
A digging tool
One of the brand new and apparently excellent FT pinpointers

Is it disappointing that they’re not announcing new technology top of the line machines - of course.

Is it some kind of insult to us enthusiasts - of course not.

I have never had a T2 and plan to get one - it’s effectively a T2 with DST and Boost and a greatly improved warranty/service package for $420 (the PP is $129 by itself).

One more factor to push down the sinking resale value of used machines. Yes its nice for buyers, but I wanted to retire on the equity I HAD in a dozen nice detectors. The cost of everything else seems to be going up (almost everything, I know TVs, computers, etc). At least my taxes aren't going up (are they?).

F75+ and T2+ - see my post three posts above yours.

Not new detectors. New value proposition - 2 year transferrable warranty extension, free new top of the line pinpointer, digging tool and huge price cut.

A big announcement? - depends. If you are in the market for an excellent high performing detector and a brand new pinpointer that looks like it might be the best one on the market and are interested in getting it all for a new super low price - then it might be a big announcement.

If not - continue to enjoy your thanksgiving weekend.

Damn that's a good deal.

Fisher has got to have another ace up their sleeves.

Maybe we will get the real huge announcement for Christmas or early 2018 ?

Best response I've seen yet. What a let down. I guess I'll wait for the Manta if I'm still alive and able to detect --78 now.
