A silver dime at 9" plus over an inch of grass in bone dry dirt results....Will hit and properly ID in coins mode all the way down to 16 manual. Also hit it hard in auto minus 3 = 19. In manual 22 and above it hit it with coil a couple inches above grass as well as auto plus 3 = 25 .
Also noticed in pinpoint mode the depth was extreme to say the least.
Pinpoints dead on but I think it reads about one inch deeper than dime actually is at depth.Balance was not bad at all as it only added 10 ounces over stock to the machine.I just shortened the rod up a bit from full extension and it felt good.
Judging from my simple testing it will be an awesome coil for extra depth and coverage as it hits hard from front outer edge to rear outer edge . Should be a dream come true for the beach hunters and open area/field hunters in my estimation.
Now if it were not 105 degrees I would do a more comprehensive infield test
