.....They are making a REAL BIG deal of him not wearing a helmet when fell down and went crash...His coach told him before hand dont be ridin that thing without it...:stars:NOW;I will tell you;I believe when you reach legal age you should nave the right to decide whether or not you wear a helmet when ya ride-NOW,because of this,I betcha all the m/c insurance companies will make all their covered policy holders sign a waiver stating that if they are not wearing a helmet and are involved in an accident;they will not be covered...I will say again;WHEN;not IF;I purchase another motorcycle a helmet will remain part of my mandatory riding gear-I had one save my life back in 1972-Also,when I took that Motorcycle Safety Class to get my motorcycle endorsement a few years ago the instructors stated flat out"NEVER,NEVER RIDE WITHOUT A HELMET-IF IT EVER BECOMES LEGAL TO RIDE IN MICHIGAN WITHOUT ONE;YOU WONT RIDE WITH ME"....Their words;not mine....As an addeed measure;they showed slides of people that had been in motorcycle accidents;and they werent wearing helmets...:ban::unsure:not pretty....

I think it is foolish to go with no helmet! God gave the folks that made hemets brains to invent them, and he gave the guys that should wear them brains too! :)

there's no doubt he was not doin the 25 mph speed limit on that road.Even if the speed limit were higher, there is a law in the city of Pgh that says you may not go thru ANY intersection faster than 25mph regardles of what the speed limit is on that particular road. It would be pretty dificult to cave in the A-post of a Chrysler New Yorker with a MC at 25mph, and that is exactly what he did to the car he hit.
