saw one in the yard during the daylight hours...then beware of possible rabies. If you shoot it, kill it with the first shot or it will spray in all directions as it is dying. Dig a pit, burn the body, then cover it up with dirt from the pit that you have dug. If you leave the body out on the ground, it will disappear during the night...some folks claim that it's mate will haul it off. I do not know if that is true, but the body will disappear. Also, they love to spray your dogs if they mess with it...Mike can verify that statement.
