For standing by your machines and warranty....!!!!! After 22yrs I finally sent in my GSII for a tuneup as every now and then it would go bazzerk, I'd shut it off, turn it back on and resume hunting with no problems? Sent it in for the heck of it just in case(?). They rebuilt the coil and swapped out a couple small parts and got it back to me pretty quick with no charge. That machine paid for itself 22yrs ago within approx. 7 months...so the remaining 21yrs have been a bonus. Talk about bang for your buck....lol That GSII has dug me thousands upon thousands of coins.....

Thanks Tesoro.......

Great post I like hearing stories like this .

How many brands can back this kind of support ?

Sooo happy I found Tesoro

Geat folks,Great warranty,Great service and just plain outright nice folks to deal with,I have tried other brands but there's just something about the Tesoro's I just love and do not see any reason to stray away from their products.

That many years old and was fixed for FREE. No other co. will not come close to Tesoro. Tesoro and the emploies
are the best... KEN, IND.

...you hardly ever have to use it. And when you do, they back it up.

Incredible after 22 years they get the ole GSII up and running. Awesome. Hope it goes another 22 years for you.

Actually the GSII was working fine but every once in awhile it would go nuts? I thought it was possibly an EMI thing cause it only did it a few times. I would shut it off and turn back on and it would work fine. Anyways it got an overhaul and will be my machine behind the seat in the PU and when I travel and "stumble" onto a street tearout or turned up dirt and have little time I can break her out. I can really bang out the coins fast with that machine if they aren't too deep. I may also use it to clean the new crap off the top then go back after the older deeper stuff with the ET (amazing machine so far).... Best of both worlds..imo

It'll keep going I'm sure and has never let me down........

Should be able to start hunting hopefully within the week...???? still some snow and frost got pretty deep this yr.....

Oneguy, aren't you in the wrong forum?...J/K.. I haven't followed your threads much in the other forum, how you liking the E?

Haven't been hunting since Nov. (and it's killin me) so haven't put much time in with the E. BIG difference between the machines but VERY impressed with the Et and know that it's the machine I need for what I like to do. With the GSII as my backup I feel I have the best combo out there. There will be situations that come along where the GSII will be 1st choice weapon....... I'll be getting out real soon, maybe next week!!!!!!

 How did you prove original ownership? Did you have the original sales receipt.? Just curious. Thanks.
I talked with Reed(?) over the phone and mentioned that I couldn't remember if I'd bought it from a dealer in CdA, Idaho or from mailorder(?) and told him I paid $429 (?)..... He said sounded good and said Tesoro doesn't keep serial #'s that far back but send her in...no problem!
