Thanksgiving weekend Finds - Silver dimes/quarter and a few relics

I took advantage of the nice November weather and long Thanksgiving weekend and pulled 44 old coins (31 wheat pennies and 12 silver (209 silver for year) ) .
The 2 barber dimes were found at a small town railroad park at a depth of about 7 inches and sounded like wheat pennies.
The rest of the finds were pulled from city parks and old schools.
The deepest coin for the weekend was a 10-11 inch 1919 Wheat penny.

Coin Finds

Quarter is 1945.
Dimes are 1912,1913,1936,1936,1942,1948,1951 (Canadian),1954,1957
Nickels are 1942,1943 (35% silver war nickels), 1958
31 wheat pennies are back to 1912.

Non Coin Finds

Large Rutherford B Hayes Presidential Token
Personalized Bracelet. Etched in is the Name "Frosty"
The top part of a ring with a dog design
A Ford Model T key (I hit some old plastic square key chain first that broke apart when I dug the key)
An old tag with the letters/numbers SP 314

Outstanding bunch of finds, Dave, especially for the time of year. Won't be long before the ground up your way is stiff and will probably be that way for a few months. That 1913 dime wasn't carried long before it was lost.

Thanks for sharing.

Looking forward to next weeks finds

Thanks Ron,
yes, the ground is starting to get pretty stiff up here.

That's a ton of silver you pulled out over the weekend. Congrats on surpassing 200 silver for the year FPD.

Congrats on the big time silver haul Dave! If memory serves, that Ford key is a Model T.

I just talked to Silver King and he said you 2 did great. Wish I didn't have to work that weekend. I was at Woodlawn last week and there was a guy detecting and he found an 1862 half. I found a 1925 quarter not 10 feet from that spot yesterday. Gonna have to start posting my finds.
