My granddaughter was sneaking into the pantry to get some dog treats to further bribe our dogs to be her best friends forever.
She knocked over a quart jar of diced peppers a friend gets for me in Chicago. They are hot Yummmm goood. Can't get them here.
Well the jar broke and spilled oily peppers and oil all over the pantry floor and also broke a storage jar of coins my wife had on the pantry floor.
It took about an hour to clean up the mess including using a spatula to get up the peppers, broken glass and lots of loose coins from the pantry floor. Later that afternoon while washing the coins I saw a silver dollar size coin all covered with pepper goo and cleaned it off.
Below is a photo of the 1899 Morgan O dollar. Anyone have any idea of what it would be graded and it's value? No wear at all on the reeded edge.
