Spent 3 hours in the same place I dug the 16" bullet I had video of on here and YouTube.
The last hunt in there with the CTX set a record of 16 bullets plus misc. percussion caps and lead.
Today in less than 3 hours I got 21 bullets plus percussion caps and melted lead.
I think there may be 22 in the photo, if so the extra one was my test bullet I always keep in my pouch.
This place was hunted all the way back to the early 70's and we hunted it with Mark Ones and Nautilus, etc.
The more I go in there I am thinking it is because I can run the CTX so hot despite EMI that makes some detectors unusable.
Today I was running up to 28 manual at times with 26 gain and the CTX was red hot.
Also, normally 98% of targets in there are shot bullets but today I found 2 really nice 54 caliber Enfields which is really rare for me, one nice dropped 2 ringer and one dropped 3 ringer so I was really happy.
Most targets were around the 12" range, some a little more some a little less so I think many detectors just missed them in the past.
I remember days in the 70's and 80's going all day and not doing any better than this and that is back when things were plentiful so I am very happy the CTX is sniffing out the deeper stuff missed by others.
