adjusting my thresh hold and gain seems to have helped didn,t find no silver but i plucked 13 teen wheats out of real trashy area thanks once again,where in il. do you live
 
Well, not that far from you by the looks of your IP address. I am in Shelbyville which is about 100 miles from St. Louis down Interstate 70. If I am correct about your IP, there are several guys with Explorers in your area.

I have the X-1 on order but have seen lots of people with this complaint. Is it possible to tape a penny or other metal on the X-1 holder so it will automatically sound when in its holder, you should then know it is still switched on. I understand there may be a problem in wet conditions with the switch box getting wet, does anyone know if its true and if so what is the fix
