Hi:
I bought a Bandido from OzarkTom and it was just like he said it was ,"in great shape".
The first day I used it I was disappointed-I couldn't get more than 4" no matter what I tried.
I had the manual in my hand and kept trying to get 6" -couldn't do it.
I emailed him and told him I wasn't sure it was for me.
Today I used it quite a lot and tried several tips all day off and on and have done way better today.
I have not used headphones yet but I can see now that this is a neat little devil.
You can do a lot with it. There are so many ways to use it. One thing I see strange is when I go over a test bed coin
that is 4" deep it is really loud and clear in the disc.mode - if I switch to all metal mode it is not nearly as loud.
I am at the point now where I can tell what coin it is by the disc setting.
Now I have to get a good set of headphones only which ones.
Widows or ghosts HMMMMM.
Then maybe a better coil for depth.
First I have to get the phones.
Thanks everybody and good luck.

Welcome to the Bandido Club! It is true! Most detectors do not like freshly buried coins. It likes the long forgotten deep ones better!
