I just got back from a weekend hunt with Nancy and Larry. My wife (Paulette) and I cannot thank them enough for the great time we had. We would have had a wonderful time even if we didn't find any coins. We met some really great people. There were V3's and MXT's and both detectors did themselves proud. First let me say that Larry skunked us all, check out his finds on the V3 forum.
My pictures aren't very good and the coins aren't clean yet but you've all seen these kinds of coins before. I got 3 silver dimes, 42, 46, and 48. The big trick for the MXT was getting all the War nickel years in one weekend. I got a 42, 3 - 43's, 44, and 2 - 45's. Also there is a 40, a 42 non war nickel, and two 46's. I also got the scout knife, pin, and COOL Order of the Arrow sterling ring. I also got 12 wheats with the oldest being a 26.
The other picture is some of my other loot and clad. I was using my MXT and the 10" Excelerator coil. I got a DX1 pinpointer from Larry and all I can say is boy is it easier finding those coins. Nancy I wish I had got more of your chili. Rob
