Thanks MineLab Service!

Called Minelab service and spoke to Robert. I was in a panic. Excal had died on the beach and I was not sure why. Robert walked me through a few scenarios and discovered that my battery adapter plug was not connecting with the charger plug. A slight pinch of the adapter receptacle fixed the problem. That's the kind of customer service that you do not find too often. Thanks Robert!

Yep, Robert seems to know his stuff. He helped me with what I perceived to be a problem with my new Excal. Turned out to be something that is normal. I was afraid I was going to have to ship it back. BTW, you haven't had a problem with the little rubber boot on the batter pod coming loose have you? Mine has come loose and looking inside it appears to have had just a small amount glue in one little place. Just wondering if I should glue it back down. I covers the end where the two little set screws are located. Doesn't appear to serve any purpose really. This pod looks identical to the spare battery pod. Have a good day.

Yes, Robert is a good guy, and a credit to the company. He had my GT fixed the next day after it arrived, it turns out it was a "leaky capacitor". Not sure he was the one who did the work, but he was the one I dealt with. Cant wait to get it back.

Hey Steve, Glad to hear that Robert was able to solve your problem over the phone, so that you would not have to slow down that GOLD ROLL
that you are on. ROBERT is FIVE STARS ***** in my book. He is definitely the MINELAB EXCALIBUR GO-TO-MAN!! He also helped me out two weeks ago, when I had a problem with a loose clevix on my NEW SOV-GT!! ROBERT YOU DA MAN!!!
