Thanks MAKRO for making the choice easy now.

I am so impressed with what Makro and Nokta have achieved since they have been focusing on their hobby division of metal detectors.
The features and MSRP of the Makro and Nokta machines must be a tuff pill to swallow for the other manufactures.
The user reviews and videos are the factors that made me a Nokta/Makro fan without ever owning one of their machines.
Bringing innovation to the table forces the other guys to invest further in R&D and that is a win for the detectorists.
Competition births innovation, and Makro/Nokta appear to be near the top of the totem pole in just a short time.
After months of deliberation, I have decided that my next machine will be the new multi Makro Kruzer.
Happy Hunting.

Good choice Jason! I have been field testing the Kruzer and am very impressed with the machine. Looks like they will be available very soon.

Hello Jason... this is one of these messages that just makes my day ...not because you said you will buy one but really understanding and appreciating what we are really trying to bring to the table...
2018-2019 - we will have a lot more coming for you guys as well as others who have not been our target market so far yet will be in the near future ...
THANK YOU ALL for all your support!

I second what Jason said. I too am impressed by what Makro/Nokta has brought to the table and how the company values customer input. I've also been impressed with the way Dilek has supported the people who have tested machines for the company. I'm now certain that my next machine will be the Multi Kruzer.

I am another tester. All the modes work excellent. For those that like a threshold based all metal mode--GEN is actually pretty nice, reminds me a bit of some older type detectors. Pre-set Beach mode is ideal for those newest nickel plated steel Canadian clad coins that give most detectors fits.

The more I play with the Kruzer, the more I like it. Still getting to know it, after using the Impact found the menu navigation of the Kruzer is somewhat easier.

How is it better in beach mode than in other modes for CAD coins ? Is the ID better (more stable), sound perhaps ? Anything that has an advantage for our types of coins is welcome. Thanks.

Those newest clad coins that fall into the iron range would normally be passed over with maybe the coin giving a false sound using a DD coil. The Kruz does get them just like the Impact. In the Beach mode, the Kruz gets them with a tighter audio report. With the Impact you would use COG mode. Still overall the Impact was one of the best detectors I have used in finding modern Canadian clad coins, normally using Di3,Di4, Deep modes. Prefer Di3 when hunting with the Impact. The Kruz is just as good. Just finding 4 tone mode to an excellent mode.

Now I have found that these newer coins are not even an issue in any of the Kruzer modes when using a concentric coil. For Canadians, when the concentric coil is made available, assume it will be a 7" round like the Impact, it would be a great accessory coil to have.

For Canadians the Kruzer like the Impact is another winner.

Just got to see how this detector will stack up to the Equinox as I have both now ordered. With the Makro I ordered in the 7 inch concentric coil as the one it comes with is bigger than I can use, but will use it.
I need something that is lighter weight than my Sovereign GT so I can detect longer and still do a great job at some of my older site I been detecting since 1973. Like I say just have to see for myself for my type of detecting.

Just have to see which one shows up first.

Now you have my imagination running. Can you you throw out a few little tidbits of what you might have in 2018-2019. Being retired and on fixed budget I have to watch the bottom line but would really be excited about a great salt water beach unit but in the mean time I will most likely go for Kruzer.
